2. Age limit
There is no age limit to Jalometalli 2008. However, there are areas serving alcoholic beverages in the festival premises that are restricted to people of 18 years and older.

3. Location
Jalometalli 2008 takes place at Club Teatria, right next to Oulu city center. When arriving to the festival area, it is best to leave your car home and come by public transportation or other means of transportation that require no parking.

4. Alcoholic beverages
There are two areas serving alcoholic beverages at Jalometalli 2008, both restricted to people of 18 years and older. These areas have been set so that the visibility to the closest stage is as good as possible.
It is forbidden to bring your own alcoholic beverages or other intoxicating substances to the festival area. If you have any food or drinks with you as you arrive at the festival gates, there is a checkroom at the main gate where you can leave them for the duration of the festival.

Jalometalli 2008 has two stages.

7. Stalls/booths
The fans at Jalometalli 2008 need not be hungry, for there is a variety of foods available at the festival, from traditional "Oulu"-grilled sausages to vegetarian dishes. Additionally, you can, of course, buy records, t-shirts and other merchandise at the festival as well. Please note that not all stalls accept ATM cards or VISA Electron, so make sure you have cash on you if you are planning to buy something at the festival.

8. Check room
There is a check room next to the main gate where you can leave any extra belongings
and any possible drinks you have upon arrival for the duration of the festival.
The check room charge is 3 euros and 2 euros per visit.

9. Photography and recording
Recording or photographing any shows/concerts at the festival without permission is forbidden by law (copyright law, statutes 2 and 45). Bringing video cameras and professional SLR cameras to the festival area without a Jalometalli press pass is also forbidden. However, common digital cameras, disposable cameras, camera phones, etc are appropriate equipment for storing your favorite festival moments.
