Instructions for accreditation:

- Please apply for accreditation in a concentrated fashion. State the name of your media/organization and the names of each attending staff member, including their contact information and job description during the festival.
- All accreditation applications must have the permission of each representative’s editor-in-chief/organization supervisor.
- Applications should be sent via e-mail to the Jalometalli Media Officer at media(at)jalometalli.net by August 8, 2008.
- Applicants will be informed of the approval/denial of their accreditation request no later than on the day following application deadline.
- Approved applicants can obtain their passes at the VIP-gate by showing a valid ID card.
- No other press-passes allow an entry to the festival area.

For reporters:
- Artist interviews have to be pre-arranged with the artists or their representatives.
- Media representatives do not have direct access to the artists’ backstage area, so we encourage you to set up your interviews with our Media Officer in advance or at the festival.
- We will try to help you in setting up your interviews as much as we can.
- We have reserved a separate area for interviews at the festival, but you can arrange for your own place for interview if you like.

For photographers:
- There is no separate photo-pass for photographers – a press-pass includes the rights for photography.
- For the sake of practicality, we kindly ask each media to have only one person from their staff photographing at the same time.
- Climbing to stage or stage structures (railings, etc) is strictly prohibited.
- Please respect the crowd’s privacy.
- Photography at backstage is strictly forbidden without the consent of everyone visible in the picture.
- As usual, photography in the photopit is permitted only for the representatives of the media during the first three songs of a set. The event organizers reserve the right to changes in photo opportunities.
- Permission to shoot video footage has to be separately requested from the artist or their representatives as well as from event organizers at info(at)jalometalli.net
